At the Y, a supportive community is a big part of wellness.
The Forest City YMCA offers a wide variety of weekly group fitness classes for all ages, levels and interests. We teach real classes for real people, focusing on your optimal health. From spirit, mind and body classes such as yoga and Pilates, to high-intensity cardio and strength training such as HITT and Ready Lift, we’ve got something for every body and every age. We hope you’ll find a class that’s fun, supportive, fits your schedule and keeps you moving. Classes are included for free in membership. YMCA Group Fitness Classes are for ages 15+ with some exceptions.
Our Adult Group Fitness Programs:
COVID-19 has changed the way we do group exercise classes. We have a modified class schedule for now. This won't be permanent so please be patient while we navigate guidelines from the IDPH and CDC on how best to offer classes while protecting the well-being of our staff and members.
