Like a normal full triathlon, your goal is to swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles, and run 26.2 miles. Don’t freak out:) Read on…

That’s a total of 140.6 miles right? Yep…it is! But this full triathlon is one that mere mortals can actually do!

Here is how it works: Your swim, bike, and run distances accumulate over 8 weeks as you train. So, if you run/walk/hike 1.1 miles 3 times a week you will accumulate 26.4 miles to easily make the 26.2 run portion. Your goal is to cover full triathlon (Ironman) distances in all 3 events. If you are an over achiever, you can even try to complete more than one triathlon!!!

More great news! Two heads are WAY better than one! Grab a buddy and combine your distances over the 8 weeks. Not a big fan of the water? Think running is punishment? Only own a unicycle? No worries! We got ya covered with alternative modes of exercise that count toward your distances. And…there will be weekly fitness challenges you can complete to get bonus mileage.
